We try to eat wholesome meals based on fresh, seasonal ingredients and simple, scratch cooking. For me, that means lots of whole grains and local produce. It does not mean skimping on desserts or eschewing classic comfort foods.
I’m always up for a challenge in the kitchen, but this site is not about tackling intimidating recipes. It’s about trying to make everyday meals just a little bit more special, celebrating the seasons, and still (usually) getting dinner on the table before anyone has a meltdown.
